Lorenzo Bagnati, a bright rising star of the world piano scene, was born in Milan in 1998 into a family of talented musicians. As early as four years old, Lorenzo showed a passion for the piano and at age 7, he performed his first concert as a student of the prestigious Benedetto Marcello Venice Conservatory. After graduating from the conservatory with honours at 17, the young pianist pursued his Master’s Degree at the Gnessin Academy of Music. At present, Lorenzo continues his studies under the guidance of Maestro E. K. Virsaladze. His performances are a symbiosis of virtuoso technique and deep emotionality.

Being the first prize winner of many international competitions, among which is the Anton Rubinstein International Competition, Lorenzo Bagnati gives recitals on significant world stages, including Carnegie Hall (New York) and La Fenice Theatre (Venice). The recognised musician has also been a jury member of several prestigious contests.
