Welcome to an unforgettable night of music and passion! Join us on November 30th at The Stoller Hall concert venue, as we proudly present "Amore e Passione: Italian Opera and Neapolitan Songs" with world renowned tenor Fabio Andreotti accompanied by the stunning London based pianist Varvara Tarasova. 

Manchester has long been known to be a Northern capital of indie and pop
music, but its classical music scene has much to offer too, with two internationally
acclaimed music schools based in the city. This April opera aficionados will have a
unique chance to enjoy world class opera performed by Fabio Andreotti in The
Stoller Hall..

Fabio Andreotti is a tenor born in Rome, Italy, who studied singing with Antonio Boyer and Gianni Raimondi after receiving his degree in Political Science from the University "La Sapienza" of Rome. He has also attended the "Ateneo Internazionale della Lirica di Sulmona," where he studied with Magda Olivero, Mirella Freni, Gabriella Tucci, and Renato Bruson. Mr. Andreotti made his debut in 1996, and he has won the Francesco Albanese Competition. He has sung in important concerts in Italy, Japan, South Korea, and Tunisia, and he has performed with the Suntory Hall, the National Orchestra of Estonia, and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. He has also recorded CDs of popular songs and performed with other musicians such as Janet Perry. His repertoire includes Alfredo in "La Traviata," Don Josè in "Carmen," the Duke in "Rigoletto," and Pinkerton in "Madama Butterfly," among others. He has also sung Verdi's "Messa di Requiem" several times and has been featured in ballet performances. Mr. Andreotti's singing schedule is always busy, and he remains a tenor of utmost quality.

Varvara Tarasova is a winner of over 15 International Piano Competitions, Varvara Tarasova released her first CD of Brahms and Schumann with Champs Hill Records in 2017. She has received glowing reviews and prestigious awards including the Soirée D'Or award and Hopkinson Gold Medal. Tarasova graduated with honours from both the Royal College of Music (receiving a full scholarship, supported by Sir Roger and Lady Stephanie Carr) and Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. After earning two Master of Performance degrees and an Artist Diploma as a concert pianist, Tarasova is currently studying voice at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

Tarasova has performed in Europe, USA, UK, Brazil, Mexico and Russia, and given concerto performances with many orchestras, led by conductors including Vasily Petrenko, Misha Rakhlevsky, Konstantin Orbelian, and John Gibbons.

Festival appearances include the Torre de Canyamel Piano Festival in Mallorca, and the Rheingay Music Festival in Germany.

Tarasova has a longstanding partnership with the Yamaha Artistic Centre and is currently taking part in a DEBUT's Horizon project.
