Der einzigartige und virtuose Leiter des Mystery Ensembles ist Abuzar Manafzade.
Abuzar Manafzade ist ein talentierter junger Künstler aus Aserbaidschan, der international als preisgekrönter Pianist, Dirigent und Komponist bekannt ist. Geboren in Baku, stammt er aus einer musikalischen Familie und begann im Alter von sieben Jahren mit Musikunterricht. Mit neun Jahren gewann er den «Wettbewerb für junge aserbaidschanische Pianisten», der erste von vielen internationalen Auszeichnungen, die noch kommen sollten.
Abuzar Manafzades außergewöhnliche Leistungen umfassen den Gewinn von 18 Preisen bei internationalen Klavierwettbewerben und Auftritte in zahlreichen Ländern weltweit, darunter Aserbaidschan, Brasilien, Bulgarien, Deutschland, Holland, Österreich, Polen, Rumänien, Schweiz, Slowakei, Spanien, Türkei, USA und Usbekistan.
Manafzade schloss sein Bachelorstudium im Fach Klavier am Staatlichen Konservatorium der Mimar-Sinan-Universität in Istanbul ab und studierte unter der Anleitung von Prof. Bahar Tokay. Er studierte auch Theorie-Komposition bei Prof. Hasan Uçarsu und Orchesterdirigieren bei Prof. Antonio Pirolli. Anschließend absolvierte er weitere Studien an der Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz, wo er seinen Master in Klavier unter der Leitung des international renommierten Pianisten Prof. Oleg Marshev erlangte.
Neben seiner Ausbildung als Pianist verfolgte Manafzade auch seine Leidenschaft für das Dirigieren und wurde 2022 als erster Aserbaidschaner im fünfjährigen Diplomprogramm für Orchesterdirigieren an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien angenommen. Dort studierte er unter der Leitung des weltberühmten Dirigenten Prof. Dr. Johannes Wildner und dirigierte einige der renommiertesten Orchester Europas.
Als Komponist ist Manafzade für seine Klavierstücke bekannt und komponiert derzeit seine erste Oper. Er schrieb auch das erste Konzert für Balaban und Sinfonieorchester.
Abuzar Manafzade lebt derzeit in Wien, Österreich, und gibt weiterhin Konzerte auf der ganzen Welt als Pianist, Dirigent und Komponist.

The unique and virtuoso leader of Mystery Ensemble is Abuzar Manafzade.
Abuzar Manafzade is a multi-talented young Azerbaijani artist who is an international prize-winning pianist, conductor, and composer. Born in Baku, he comes from a musical family and started taking music lessons at the age of seven. At nine, he won the «Azerbaijani Young Pianists Competition,» the first of many international awards to come.
Abuzar Manafzade’s exceptional accomplishments include winning 18 prizes in international piano competitions and performing in numerous countries across the globe, including Austria, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Germany, Holland, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, the USA, and Uzbekistan.
Manafzade completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Piano at the Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory in Istanbul, studying under the guidance of Prof. Bahar Tokay. He also studied Theory-Composition with Prof. Hasan Uçarsu and Orchestral Conducting with Prof. Antonio Pirolli. Afterward, he pursued further studies at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, where he obtained his Master’s Degree in Piano under the tutelage of internationally acclaimed pianist, Prof. Oleg Marshev.
In addition to his training as a pianist, Manafzade also pursued his passion for conducting, becoming the first Azerbaijani to complete the five-year Diploma program in Orchestral Conducting at the University of Music and Performing Arts of Vienna in 2022. There, he studied with the world-renowned conductor Prof. Dr. Johannes Wildner, and led some of the most prestigious orchestras in Europe.
As a composer, Manafzade is well-known for his piano pieces and recently composing his first opera. He also composed the first Concerto for Balaban and Symphony Orchestra.
Abuzar Manafzade currently resides in Vienna, Austria, and continues to give concerts all around the world as a pianist, conductor, and composer.
